Xiaomi Unveils 13T Series With 144Hz Display and Leica Camera System

The Xiaomi 13T series has been announced this week in Berlin and the brand is once again using its Leica equation to the fullest. The new Xiaomi flagship includes the 13T and 13T Pro versions, both of which are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset. Xiaomi gives the devices a new finish, packed with powerful hardware and yes, the exciting Leica camera setup that we already liked on the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra earlier this year.

Xiaomi 13T series price

The Xiaomi 13T series is priced at EUR 650 (roughly Rs. 57,200) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The Xiaomi 13T Pro is available starting at €800 (roughly Rs. 70,400) for the base 12GB variant, which goes up to 16GB of RAM.

Specifications of the Xiaomi 13T series

The Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro have the same 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and about 2,600 nits of peak brightness. The 13T features the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, while the 13T Pro uses the Dimensity 9200+ chipset we’ve seen in the likes of the Vivo X90 series this year. Xiaomi offers phones with MIUI 14 version based on Android 13 out of the box. Expect the phones to receive multiple OS updates and additional support for security patches. The brand offers these phones with a new vegan leather finish and a glass panel on the back.

On the back of the Xiaomi 13T is a triple camera system that includes a 50-megapixel OIS sensor, a 50-megapixel portrait sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. There are various Leica filters to make your images look rich. The 13T Pro also has the same camera setup, and the front-facing 20MP selfie camera is also the same.

The other main difference comes from the charging department, as the 13T’s 5000mAh battery gets 67W charging speed, while the same battery unit supports 120W charging on the 13T Pro. You get the 13T series with two speakers that support Dolby Atmos Audio.
